Services Terms and Conditions

Our (Coddle Pte Ltd, coddlehealth.com) services (“Services”) are subject to the following Terms and Conditions and our Terms of Use including our Privacy Notice. In accessing our website and / or mobile application (“Coddle”) (“App”) and using the information available at our website, you agree to the abovementioned terms and conditions.

1.        Our Services

  1. Our website at “coddlehealth.com” and the App (“Platform”) provide and furnish relevant information on caregivers (“Coddlers”) who are registered in our database and Platform and who are providing services to persons, like yourself, in need of support and assistance (“Careseekers”).
  2. Our Services also include (i) linking a Careseeker with the appropriate and available Coddler for the purpose of accompanying Careseeker to a medical appointment (“Assignment”) ; (ii) verifying all required documents including identity documentation of both Coddlers and Careseekers, (iii) providing and arranging for relevant and appropriate training to Coddlers, verifying the qualification of Coddlers, accepting and (iv) arranging payments and receipts for the above services (“Services”) provided.

2.        Terms and Conditions for Careseekers

  1. Our Services are specified in clause 1 and we do not provide the services rendered during an Assignment. The support, assistant and guide services rendered during an Assignment are services rendered by Coddler directly to you.
  2. You offer your requirements (terms) at this booking form and the Booking completes when Coddler accepts your offer of the requirements (terms) through our Platform.
  3. Coddler’s obligations vis a vis the Assignment is to you after you fulfil your obligation in the form of Payment at this Platform.
  4. You agree that it is your duty and responsibility to immediately notify us if you realise that the Coddler arriving for your Assignment does not fit the description provided by us on the Platform.
  5. You agree and undertake that you use our Platform and database to search for a suitable Coddler and shall not privately arrange with any Coddler who is registered on our Platform for an Assignment nor privately arrange any payment for any service from a Coddler without going through our Platform.
  6. You also agree and undertake to indemnify us for the loss of earnings should you be in breach of the undertaking and term in clause 2(5) above.
  7. You agree and acknowledge that once our records reveal a trace of your attempt at contacting the Coddler, you are deemed to have made use of our Services and agreed to the terms herein.
  8. You agree and acknowledge that once you have decided to engage the Coddler for your assignment, you shall proceed to make payment in accordance with Clause 3 to us before the booking (“Booking”) is deemed complete.
  9. An Assignment is deemed complete (“Complete”) once Coddler manages to fetch you back to your designated address safely. The designated address (“Designated Address”) shall be the same as that where Coddler picks you from at the onset of Assignment unless otherwise stated in your requirements at booking confirmation.
  10. All other expenses (such as transport expenses) incurred by you during an Assignment are to be borne by you.
  11. If there is any revision to your requirements occurring during the Assignment; you agree to make Payment for them if such revision involves costs. Such revisions could be more time that is required from Coddler for Assignment. Should you disagree with the revision, you agree to notify us within 3 days of complete of assignment (“Dispute Window”).

3.        Payment, Cancellation, Refund

(A) You agree to the following payment-process:

  1. You begin by keying in your requirement for a Coddler at Booking Page.
  2. You fill in your credit card information just before you click “Book”.
  3. The Booking is Complete once Coddler accepts your Assignment or once you accept a Revision.
  4. You will be charged once the Booking is Complete and a receipt will be emailed to you.
  5. If you cancel a Booking, there will be no refund. However, credits will be issued to you for use in the following booking.
  6. You agree that negative ratings will be assigned to your account if you cancel a Booking 3 times or more within a period of 12 months.

4.        Waivers, Disclaimers & Other Terms

  1. If you are a Careseeker in search of a Coddler through the use of our Platform, you acknowledge and agree that while we use our best endeavours to ensure the veracity and accuracy of the information provided, we are unable to guarantee the accuracy and veracity of the information furnished by the Coddler.
  2. By virtue of Clauses 2(1) to 2(3); we are not responsible for your personal safety during the Assignment and any liability for personal injury or death occurring during the Assignment is expressly excluded in these Terms and Conditions.
  3. On Booking, you undertake to declare at Booking Page your ailments, illnesses, diseases, allergies and other deficits or handicap that you are presently going through. You also undertake to inform Coddler though our Platform at Booking Page any particular form of care that should be taken by Coddler during the Assignment. Although the Coddler will use his / her best endeavours to keep in mind your instructions rendered at Booking, the Coddler will not be liable nor responsible for any mishap or accident that may occur during an Assignment; such mishap or accident not occurring through any act, omission, negligence or fault of the Coddler.
  4. You agree that in the event of any dispute in this agreement, you shall resolve the dispute by way of mediation conducted by us before you refer the dispute to the Small Claims Tribunal.
  5. This agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore.
  6. Any amendment of any term by any party to this agreement shall be agreed by both parties and made in writing such as the email.
  7. If any Term or Condition contradicts any regulation or statute, the rest of the Terms and Conditions are still effective, legal and binding.
  8. You acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the other terms of Services and the Assignment at (http://coddlehealth.com/faq-careseeker.html).
  9. Promotional codes are issued by us on terms and conditions at time of issue. Your use / activation of such promotional codes will be deemed an agreement to the terms and conditions attached to the promotional codes at time of issue or publication.

5.        Personal information

  1. You acknowledge that Coddle may collect your personal information. Such information includes without limitation your name, name card, photograph, email address, telephone number and address.
  2. Coddle shall comply with applicable data protection laws (if any) in the collection, use, disclosure and retention of personal information.
  3. You agree that even after the completion of any transaction between you and Coddle, Coddle is entitled to use your personal information for the purposes of publicizing Coddle’s products and services to you or contacting you to obtain feedback.
  4. You acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions relating to our Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use of our Platform.
